Ouai vraiment pourri

Le départ a été donné à 9 : 00 tapante après la traditionnelle bénédiction. Chez les hommes, c’est Seth Wealing qui sort le premier suivi de Craig Evans. Et la troisième n’est autre que Christine Jeffrey qui prouve qu’il faudra bien compter sur elle. Olivier Marceau sort troisième pro homme de l’eau à 25 secondes devant Franky Batelier. Le Suisse réalise la meilleure transition ce qui lui permet d’aborder la partie VTT en position de leader.
Nico Lebrun est sorti quasiment en même temps que l’autre favorite Melanie MacQuaid, tandis que Julie Dibens et Marion Lorblanchet avaient déjà enfourché leur vélo.
