After the first season out in the field, the Rotor development crew has collected all the key feedback from tests and users. The result is a new Rotor Power meter firmware update (SW8), which can be downloaded easily from the Rotor website.
“The first Rotor Power season was very demanding for us. First, we were overwhelmed by the very high demand. We are sorry that we have not been able to supply Power product to all the customers that ordered yet. We changed the production capacity with all our vendors successfully so we can start to deliver higher quantities in the fall. Second, we learned a lot in this first season and are very thankful to all our athletes and customers for feedback. Rotor Power was the first time we applied electronics to our crank technology and worked with new partners in the electronic industry. Thanks to all the feedback and learning, we have implemented the most important improvements into the new crank performance update SW8 before the next season starts,” explain David Martinez, director
of engineering and R&D at Rotor. The new SW8 firmware update is currently available on the Rotor website. An update to the Rotor Power software is also available:
