Jammaer loses ground
We've just had a report that Graves, Twelsiek and Llanos are all riding together, but Jammaer has dropped back.

I'm also wondering if something happened to Stephen Bayliss out on the course (a flat, perhaps?) - we had him as one of the first athletes onto the bike, then suddenly he was almost four minutes back.

Twelsiek and Graves split things up
As they head into the Fire Mountains the two leaders are starting to splinter the field.

Maik Twelsiek (#8) is the current leader.

Morrison pulls well clear
Catriona Morrison (#40) is now opening up a sizeable gap on the rest of the women in the race. Behind her are:

* Tara Norton (#36) at 4:54
* Bella Bayliss (#33) at 4:59
* Hillary Biscay (#35) at 5:47
* Kate Bevilaqua (#43) at 6:59

Morrison spent much of the winter training in Spain with three-time Kona champ Chrissie Wellington, so you would think she's fit. A couple of weeks ago she won Ironman 70.3 St. Croix, which proved she's fit.

We'll find out just how fit as the day progresses - the Scot has a long way to go still, with some stiff competition chasing her.
