I am sorry that I can not write in French.
I am organizer of Elbaman Triathlon, race held in Italy since 2005 on iron distance.
As mybe many of you know the race has a good background and a good reputation due to hard work of all our passionate team.
As maybe you also know, from 2009 there is another iron race in Italy, also mentioned in this thread.
Many problem with this race are occured, organizational problem with total change of bike-run course and location only 5 weeks before the event and without any proper communication on websites all around the globe (many foreigner are in the entry list, also some French).
We would like to underline that this is not related with Italian Triathlon in general. There is plenty of responsible, passionate and smart organizer that care about athletes as the key point of any decision around the race.
Who knows me also know how much attention I put into details and into a clear communication with every single athlete interested in Elbaman.
I would not like that this bad event about this new race would affect also on Elbaman spreading a general idea of "Italian organization is bad, please avoid them".
We are different, our story talks for us.

Ben, c'est quelle course ou ils ont changé tout au dernier moment ??? Pis t'inquiête pas Marco, on est pas cucu (je traduis : couillons, bêtes, neuneu), on ne va pas forcément faire d'amalgames. Moi j'aime bien les Italiens... et les Italiennes

En tout cas, L'ELBAMAN, ça me tenterai bien un jour !
En tout cas, moi je trouve très bien pour un organisateur de prendre du temps pour aller consulter les forums étrangers !!!
