Confirmation du speaker, au km 30 : Patrick "Vernaille" (jolie prononciation) has taken the lead.

d'ailleurs, un sub-8h serait possible....

Enfin, l'optimisime est peut etre excessif, il faudrait boucler les derniers 12km en 42 min, ce qui serait tres fort...

Vernay remains in the lead and now has half a minute on second place Tissink. Even more impressive it he seems to be picking up the pace and could break the eight-hour mark today.

Remarque: Tissink ne perds que tres peut de temps (25s/5km depuis le 20eme) et l'ecart est encore faible.

Allez patrick, il a maintenant 30 sec d'avance sur tissink aprés 30 kil du marathon. Il est parti pour descendre sous les 8 heures.

Messieurs les incapables de la fédé qui oublient de mettre au calendrier des compet notre ironman France, notre patrick vous en bouche un coin.

Continuez donc avec vos championnat du monde en bois.

The word must have gotten to Vernay that he is within reach of breaking the eight-hour mark if he continues to keep his current pace. Equally impressive is that Tissink could do the same if he can pick up his pace by a few seconds a kilometer.

Apres un rapide calcul, je ne suis pas sur de partager l'enthousiasme de Ironmanlive, ni des presentateurs

: un temps de 8h05 semblerait beaucoup plus probable. Quoi qu'il en soit, ce temps serait deja enorme...

The clock has just clicked over the eight hour mark which leaves only the Australian record of 8:03:56, set by Jason Shortis last year, to break.

(Pas vraiment surprenant, cela semblait "improbable" depuis le 30eme km...)
