Where's the wind?
It's so calm at the top of Mirador de Haria that the windmills aren't even moving.
Local pro Nicholas Ward Munoz has been telling me all week that he was going to be fine using a disc wheel today, which seemed crazy to me based on the conditions we saw earlier this week.
Little did I know he'd be making the perfect wheel choice for today!

The men at the top of Haria
Philip Graves (#14) has moved to the front of the race at the top of Mirador de Haria. The 21-year-old chose not to grab his special needs bag, which allowed him to go past Maik Twelsiek who made sure to get his bag.
Behind the two are
* Bert Jammaer (#1) at 4:17
* Eneko Llanos (#2) at 6:06
Llanos can't buy a break today - as he was grabbing his special needs bag one of the bottles fell out and rolled across the road. He had to stop to grab the bottle, which lost him more time

Hammering down the descent
Maik Twelsiek (#8) managed to open up even more of a gap on the descent down del Rio. Here are the splits behind the German through Arrieta:
* Philip Graves (#14) at 1:51
* Bert Jammaer (#1) at 4:22
* Eneko Llanos (#2) at 7:48
